Per Mano Isabel Maria

As the name suggests, this is a website of projects undertaken by
Isabel Maria del Aguila.

Isabel Maria's primary passion is late 16th Century Spanish gowns
of the nobility, and she finds all manner of excuses to wear them along
with all the associated accoutrements. She is also intrigued by period
headwear & hair styling, renaissance glasswear and middle class
Elizabethan garments.

A member of the Order of the Laurel in the Society for Creative Anachronism, Isabel was recognised for her endeavours in the field
of sartorial arts. As you might expect, this website primarily reflects
those interests: clothing, accessories and jewellery.

Some examples of Isabel Maria's work can be found in the galleries
while some of her documentation and research are linked from the documents pages. Her endeavours to create a more robust persona are introduced on the persona quest page, but that project is taking far longer than anticipated.

Part of the long standing household, Hous Amberherthe, Isabel Maria resides in the Barony of Southron Gaard, which lies within the bounds of the Kingdom of Lochac. Past travels have taken her to the Kingdoms of the West, East, Middle, Drachenwald, Caid and Atenvelt, but it is always nice to come home.

Over the years, Isabel Maria has stewarded numerous events and held various offices for both the Barony and former College of Reannag Fhara. Most recently she has taken up the office of Chronicler of the Barony, and is enjoying producing the monthly newsletter called "From the Tower".

This website is, as always, a work in progress with new articles and projects being added as time permits.
